Jr. Process Engineer (Polypropylene) – Freshgraduate

Job Responsibilities

• Complies with all relevant safety standard, procedures, and company policies, and participates in all required safety training and ensure the production process runs safely and smoothly
• Conducts plant troubleshooting and manage day to day production activities.
• Operates and monitors the production process through the Distributed Control System (DCS) to ensure smooths operations and adherence to established standards. Also works flexibly in both filed and panel areas, coordinating with control room operators and direct supervisors via radio communication to carry out field oeprations, including manual adjustments of valves and other equipment.
• Prepares daily operation reports and handles daily and monthly closing. Monitors raw material and additive stock, and requests purchases when needed.
• Carries out other tasks assigned by Manager / Sr. Engineer as part of the role’s general responsibilities.

Job Requirements

• Min. S1 (Chemical Engineering or equivalent) Fresh Graduates, required from reputable University.
• Max. 2 years’ operation experience as a process engineer related to Petrochemicals industries are welcome to apply.
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc), maintenance various email and internet programs and applications, and other software and databases generally seen in a plant environment.
• Have good understanding for process program (i.e. Hysys, UNISIM, HTRI, etc) is preferable
• Good integrity, initiatives, and team work ability.
• Have motivation to learn and willing to work under pressure.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime.
• Willing to be located in Merak Plant (Cilegon).
